Hello fellow islanders, grab your drink and your cutest bikini because we just have to discuss all the drama, bombshells, and the absolute chaos that is Love Island USA Season 7. This seasons cast is serving looks, love triangles, and scandal hotter than the Fiji sun but I’m honestly sat for all of it. Let’s spill all the tea!
While we’re here living for the drama, iconic moments, and jaw dropping recouplings, I just want to take a moment to be real with you.
I do not support or condone any form of online hate, bullying, or harassment toward the Love Island cast that includes past or present. It’s easy to get caught up in the villa chaos, the memes, and the hot takes (guilty!), but at the end of the day, these are real human beings. They laugh, they cry, they make mistakes, and they grow, just like the rest of us.
No matter how spicy things get or how messy their choices may seem on screen, they’re putting themselves out there in front of millions and that takes A LOT of courage. We can totally have fun talking about what’s happening on the show, but let’s always do it with kindness and empathy.
Let’s be the kind of viewers who hold people accountable without tearing them down. Because compassion? That’s the real hot girl energy.
So first of all, the islanders are back in Fiji, and just the fact that they showcased a water slide park this year makes me wanna sign up for the pre season. Ariana Madix is back as our beloved & iconic host looking fiercer than ever, and our fave narrator Iain Sterling who is just bound to make us laugh at our screens at the most random moments.
Season 7 premiered on June 3rd and let me just tell you, the vibes this season are very messy in the best way. New cast, new drama, but same chaotic energy we know and love.
From day one the OG islanders have been carrying the season on their shoulders. They’ve given us sweet connections, explosive arguments, and plot twists to make people’s head spin. Whether it’s loyalty being tested in shocking challenges, couples getting rocked by bombshells arriving, or islanders secretly plotting new connections, the villa has been a roller coaster to watch to say the least. The drama reached higher tension during the infamous Heart Rate challenge, which was so spicy producers had to cut out half of what was actually filmed.
But in all honesty, this season doesn’t feel genuine like the other seasons have. In earlier years, you could really tell most people came on Love Island truly hoping to fall in love and win some $10k while doing so. This season though, so many of the islanders already have some type of connection with each other before going into the villa. Whether it’s from social media, mutual friends, or even meeting/knowing each other already (like Chelley & Ace) just doesn’t feel the same as when it’s complete strangers meeting for the first time. Theres a sense that some of them are there more for followers, brand deals, or the cash prize than for actual romance. It’s not there aren’t genuine feelings involved, they definitely are, but there’s always been this underlying feeling of strategy & clout chasing that makes this season feel a little less like the Love Island we know. It was better when everyone was complete strangers and they built relationships from the ground up and remain strong till this day.
That said, it hasnt just been about the OGs this year, it’s been raining bombshells in Fiji, and I know we’re all living for it. Jose Garcia aka Pepe turned heads the minute he arrived during a challenge, Andreina Santos showed up looking like a total queen and immediately had the boys drooling. Let’s not forget about the Casa Amor guys & girls who showed up to steal some hearts and some screen time. They’re here to shake things up, steal your man and rack up those confessionals and I’m just here for it.
One of the seasons shockers has been Casa Amor, which was pretty ruthless this year. Islanders who switched partners and ended up single were at risk of instant elimination, leading to some serious heartbreak. Nic & Olandria were dumped leaving fans devastated…..only for them to stage an epic comeback that had the entire villa gasping. Their return became one of the season’s wildest plot twists, proving that no couple is ever really safe. Couples were tested hard, and some are still picking up the pieces. My jaw is still on the floor from all of it.
Fans have truly been in full meltdown mode all season long. Five Islanders were dumped in a single night due to fan voting as well as the islanders voting, leaving viewers screaming that the show cares more about drama than genuine connections. There’s even plenty of rumors going around that a lot of the islanders are there purely for clout instead of what the show was meant for. Fans are truly passionate this season but some more passionate than others. Although we all love the show and the people on it, at the end of the day we have to realize they are literally people exactly like you & I and we don’t truly know them like we may think we do simply from edited clips.
Despite all the chaos, the couples that remian are still hanging on for dear life. Ace & Chelley are trying to keep it together most especially after offically closing it off with each other. Amaya is finally experiencing the love she deserves with Bryan and will more than likely take it all if it stays this way. Chris & Huda have been have some hiccups but they seem to always resolve it when they communicate with one another. I know a lot of people are fans of Niclandria but something about them together feels just kind of off to me. Maybe I just need to give them a chance I don’t know. Let me know what you think of Niclandria in the comments down below. Then we have Pepe & Iris which is a pairing a lot of people saw coming most especially since she was a blonde damsel in distress which seems to be his type but nontheless they truly do seem like they have a good connection even though I ‘d honestly rather see her with TJ.
The show is just filled with so much drama, romance, friendship and more that just has you immediately hooked and wanting more without even realizing. Happened to me when season 5 came out. So if you’re not watching Love Island USA, what are you even doing?! This season is spicy, overflowing with bombshells, full of messy hookups, savage recouplings, jaw dropping plot twists and basically THE moment for your summer watchlist. Grab your snacks, keep your phone close for the memes and buckle up for more chaos. Because it’s another year, another season of Love Island USA and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. What do you think of the couples left? What do you think of the islanders? Want me to do seperate articles on certain islanders? Let me know in the comments down below!
