It’s everyone’s favorite dessert holiday, Coachella music festival ! Coachella started off as a fall music festival on October 9-10th, 1999. Just like today, different artists were headlining such as Rage Against the Machine, Beck, Tool and so much more but only on one weekend. These past few years though, fashion has been the main attraction & nearly every festival more than the performances themselves.

But hey I get it, you have to look your 100% best because you never know what movie scenario may come to life. So just like the first weekend, we are first going to take a look at the fashion & who showed up to show out for both weekends before we take a dive on everything & anything music performances from the dessert music festival.

When I think of Coachella fashion my mind automatically goes to one person, Vanessa Hudgens. Hudgens lived & breathed Coachella like it was her second nature. She knew what was popular that year and gave the outfits her all. Unfortunately ever since the pandemic hit, Hudgens has not been back since.

But nonetheless, Coachella fashion has evolved over the years but still keeping that desert western feeling alive. I will be rating the outfits based off on all three days. Would you agree or disagree ? Don’t forget to let me know down below in the comments. Starting off the list we have Destiny Marie A.K.A Dessxmx.

For this being her very first Coachella & getting together last minute outfits, she knew exactly what she was doing. For her first outfit, she absolutely devoured the look. Unfortunately she did not disclose where the pieces are from but nonetheless she still showed her getting dressed process on one of her TikTok’s.

For day two, she was giving No Doubt & Tara Yummy vibes all at once. She wasn’t too sure if it matched the vibes still, but it most definitely did. From the jewelry to the clothing, she matched the mood for that exactly how it should have been. Many people on TikTok were saying how it should have been a nude color top instead of the black but the black truly brings the whole look together.

For her third & last day, she went a little more simple and laid back as did most people that day. She possibly could’ve added something more to make it pop even more, but overall Des looked amazing and killed her first Coachella.

I will be giving Des a 9/10 only because I feel like maybe she could’ve done something just a tad bit more to all her outfits overall but she still looked amazing.

Up next I have Morelia De La Hoya.

Morelia De La Hoya if you didn’t know her, is a social media star who started getting notice when she started modeling for Laura’s Boutique. From there she slowly & surely started making a name for herself.

For day one she went all in to be the desert babe that she is. Unfortunately yet again, no information on the items from her outfit but she was styled by laceandpleather on Instagram. You can even wear this outfit for a night out on the town.

For day two, she went with something more risqué and she absolutely devoured this look. This look is by far by favorite look from Coachella this year. From the accessories to the outfit itself, Morelia definitely killed day two.

For day three like most did, she went with a more comfortable & laid back look. By the third day, everyone is exhausted from their bender that they just wanna be as comfortable as possible on their final day of the festival.

Overall Morelias looks are a 10/10 from the accessories, to the main attraction itself, Morelia definitely knows her way around Coachella.

Up next we have Tarayummy.

The iconic Tarayummy, absolutely killed Coachella in her own way all three days. For day one, she quickly chose the risqué route right off the bat but croquette style. All throughout her outfit are pink bows, from her head down to her shoes, Tara definitely let the light in with this outfit

For day two, there is No Doubt that she matched the vibe of day twos headliner. She went for an early 2000s grunge look, even adding false tattoos on her waist line. This is the outfit that most definitely fits her own style on a daily basis.

For day three, she went just tad bit simple with an all denim look with a just a hint of cheetah printed items to give her look a pop of color and to add just a little bit more.

I’ll be giving Tara a 9.5/10 only because I feel as if there was just one thing missing on all days but overall Tara looked very yummy.

Coming up next is Love Island USA star, Johnnie Olivia.

If you don’t know Johnnie, you most definitely need to. Last year, Johnnie’s fame took off when she appeared on the hit dating show, Love Island USA, as the second batch of women who came onto the show. From there, Johnnie left her mark not only on the show but on our minds.

For day one, Johnnie paired her red and green bikini with a cropped Mexico shirt and this is by far my favorite look from all the looks I have pulled because not only is she paying homage to Mexico, but she’s still keeping that Coachella vibe & aesthetic that we all know & love.

For day two & Revolve festival, Johnnie did exactly what she had to do in order to serve us the best outfits that we’ve seen from her. For Coachella day two, she was absolutely serving divine Coachella angel. The veil was the exact thing she needed to complete & add to her look. For the Revolve festival she was giving Winx Club realness and looked almost identical to the iconic animated fairies.

For day three and the final day of Coachella, she gave us an all black desert chic look while later on in the night, changing into an animal onesie with her friends to end the night comfortably.

I’ll be giving Johnnie’s look a 10/10 because she not only looks gorgeous but gave everything she had to give for the iconic desert festival.

Next is another Love Island USA star, Kassy Castillo.

Kassy was one of the main stars on the hit show Love Island USA, where she was determined to compete & win all in the name of love. But from the moment she was on the screen, she captured everyone’s attention.

For day one, Kassy went with a cheetah print look that had us all meowing for her. She has more trust in that top than I do with my own mother.

For day two & revolve festival, she kept it simple but still very Coachella chic. She used the same outfit for both Coachella & Revolve festival which was perfect for both festivals.

For the third and final day, Kassy went with something just a tad bit more grunge but still matching that Coachella vibe in her own way. By the end of the night, she changed into an animal onesie along with Johnny to make it more comfortable.

I will be giving Kassy a 9.9/10 ONLY because I feel as if she could have done better with her final day outfit but nonetheless, Kassy looked absolutely gorgeous.

Next, we have Berenice also known as Benulus.

Berenice is a popular Latina influencer who is such a fashion icon im upset I didn’t discover her sooner. She was sent in by Gabby Cruz a.k.a the MUA behind the small business of the month for April, Gabbezzmakeup.

Just the outfit inspiration alone automatically gives a solid ten score because of how much detail she put into this outfit alone. I’m not too sure whether this was an outfit she had previously used or something to just give us inspiration, but regardless Berenice is truly a fashion icon on the rise.

For day one, she went for an all gem look which has her shining brighter than a diamond. From the hair to the shoes, Berenice is ready to take on the desert festival.

For day two, she went more for an ethereal look as she channeled her inner butterfly with her corset top and flowing skirt. If you’re ever looking for more unique fashion inspiration, Berenice is your girl to look for.

For the third and last day, she channeled her inner rockera from the hair down to the bag & boots. This is what a modern day Mia from Rebelde would look like if it was made today.

I’ll be giving Berenice a 10/10 because she absolutely killed these looks and even added a few extra details. Berenice will be the next fashion icon mark my words.

Last but not least, we have Zoi Lerma a.k.a Zoifish.

Zoi hands down had some of the best looks out of the whole festival. She matched the festival aesthetic perfectly while also dressing comfortably. Zoi was sent in by our own Sarah Cisneros and just like Berenice, I am very hurt that I had not seen her looks sooner.

First day, it’s like she was already in the desert having the time of her life. What I personally love about this one is that it reminds me of Daenerys Targaryen from Game of Thrones and what she would wear when she was with the Dothraki people. If you know me, you know how much I love the series so this outfit automatically wins for me.

For day two, she went with a more comfortable all black look which still matched the festival perfectly. For day three, she went for a denim on denim look with a pop of red. The pop of color is something this outfit definitely needed and would not look the same without it. Sometimes all an outfit needs is a pop of color somewhere in there.

Overall, Zoi was one of the only yet many people who matched the festival perfectly with their outfits so I’ll be giving Zoi a 9.5/10 only because day two could have added possibly more details or matched the other two outfits & how they were sets.

Nonetheless, everyone looked amazing & I definitely cannot wait to see next years outfits ! In part two, I will be going over the performances so stay tuned !
